Books Drought

For the love of God, I've never missed Barnes and Noble so much in my life.  And to think I used to denigrate them for being on every other block in Manhattan!  Here are the English-language books that I've seen in Vietnam so far:

- The Quiet American
- Life of Pi
- High Fidelity
- About a Boy
- Da Vinci Code
- Angels & Demons
- The Pilgrimage
- Burt Reynold's Biography

And that's it.  I'm sure I've missed 5 or 6 other titles. And they're all photo-copied.

The other day, I read 'Life of Pi' only to find that pages 23, xii and 24 are missing.
