Fear-Mongering
Ah, pandering to the lowest common denominator to your most rabid supporters. With no fear of opposing views, the Bush-Cheney axis of tragi-comic-politic can finally resort to their age old just 'cry wolf' and gay bashing tactics, with golden morsels like:
"However they put it, the Democrat approach in Iraq comes down to this: The terrorists win and America loses," Bush told a raucous crowd of about 5,000 GOP partisans packed in an arena...
"It's my belief that they're very sensitive of the fact that we've got an election scheduled," he said. Cheney said the insurgents believe "they can break the will of the American people," and "that's what they're trying to do."
We believe that marriage is a union between a man and a woman and should be defended," Bush shouted.
