Take a data object [photo].  Swish it around at add some sauce [place, contact, humaness] and voila: a living breathing thing to be consumed and riff off.

Through machine tags, Dopplr places now have visual girth and Flickr gets more meta data. As more data is added (Zagat reviews, similar visits, etc.), the usefulness grows.  Just another small way where the Internet growing as more data is added.  Like simple celled organisms mutating into something more complex. Exciting!  (Especially for me who loves to take a snapshot of what I’m eating).

I found this via Straup.

Here’s how it works:

Did you take photos that relate to a place found in the Dopplr Atlas?  Copy the machine tag from that Dopplr page and add it on Flickr.  Flickr will propagate the Dopplr place into your photo page.

All the meanwhile, the photo you took will now be associated with that place on Dopplr.

Lots more over at the Flickr Dev Blog.
