Hate comes in all colors
Why do minorities have this sense of self-hate, one that extends to other minorities? Just because we're discriminated against doesn't give us a free ticket to discriminate.
Good riddance. The dumbass, Kenneth Eng, the jerk who wrote "Why I Hate Blacks", has been dismissed by AsianWeek.
A few choice excerpts:
Contrary to media depictions, I would argue that blacks are weak- willed. They are the only race that has been enslaved for 300 years. It's unbelievable that it took them that long to fight back. On the other hand, we slaughtered the Russians in the Japanese-Russo War.
In high school, I only remember one black student ever attending any of my honors and AP courses. And that student was caught cheating.
Sigh. Why do minorities have this sense of self-hate, one that extends to other minorities? Just because we're discriminated against doesn't give us a free ticket to discriminate. I tend to dismiss things like this article as one-off loony-bin vomiteria by ignoramuses, but sadly, there are a lot of bigoted and racist individuals in all societies – I would expect better from people who are under-represented, however.
But then, what do you expect from a dork who calls himself "God of the Universe". What baffles me is why a magazine devoted to Asian-Pacific issues would publish crap like this in the first place?
Yeah, this whole situation is messed up, and baffling. Did you see the Kenneth Eng interview on FOX News? AngryAsianMan has a link to it on his blog. KE is really, really weird. He seemed like a drone when being interviewed, and he just wanted to talk about dragons. Also, he's written previous articles titled "Why I Hate Whites" AND "Why I Hate Asians." I think he's just doing it for attention...

it's easy to make blanket statements. all mexicans are lazy. all christians are brainwashed. all southerners are uncultured. all new yorkers are self-centered. etc. i think truth is a difficult concept for simpletons, mainly because it's a beautiful process of contradictory fragments.
