Heck of a job!
Two examples today of how the Bush Administration ignored intelligence. Heck of a job Bushies! It's infuriating because there is a symptom of hard-headedness, willful ignorance and self-righteousness associated with Bush. They're the same symptoms found in religious zealots, anarchists, and other extremists. Unfortunately, while we can shield ourselves from wackos in life, the things that Bush fucks up has a tremendous impact on the way we live.
- Katrina - Bush and the federal govt had warnings about Katrina. Caught lying on tape again. This time, it wasn't about not knowing Chalabi or Abramanoff or even a blowjob -- nope, it was about millions of lives and properties lost under water.
- Iraq - Willfully ignoring intelligence that predicted a civil war scenario in Iraq. Same ol' Bush. If reality doesn't conform to his perception of reality, then fuck it all.
How many more get out of jail cards will this guy get? Ultimately, in a democracy, the responsibility lies in the people who vote their representatives to office.
