Being a non-technical founder feels very much like a cheerleader, confidant and promoter all rolled into one.

I think Alaric's bought into the idea now. He has little choice, I think, other than to continue what he has been doing, which is to knock himself against the rocks with Process.

I fervently believe that photos will be used to tell our stories in the digital and mobile age. What form that takes is up for debate - but in order to get there, we have to position users: parents, professionals, friends, lovers, kids, families -- to get and love the idea of curation and selecting and to tap into the storytelling love that is inside all of us.

Gist is coming along, slowly. The past week, sleeping on Alaric's couch, talking product during the day, teasing out the ideas, have been fretfully productive.  Now's the hard part. Putting into pixels our thoughts and dreams, racing against the clock and hoping that people can see the horizon from our little nugget.
