More of the Same
I'm just listening to Bush's speech to send 20,000 more troops to Iraq, and aside from the bluster and the empty ideas that come out, one thing cracks me up.
He just said, "Victory won't come easy.. blah blah blah.. that victory won't look like our grandfather's victories, that there won't be a ceremony on a battleship.. blah blah blah."
I'm paraphrasing -- I'm sure there'll be a transcript online within minutes. But that line cracked me up.
What the hell was Mission Accomplished, then?
I guess Bush 2003 could have used advice from Bush 2007.
