Sometimes life decides to kick you in the nuts when you're not looking.

Like when I saw that Yao had 38 pts, 10 rbs, and 5 blks in a comeback against Indiana.  But then I read that T-Mac was going to be out with a back sprain.

Bummer.

Or when I got shortlisted to work with a pretty presigious economic development org here in Vietnam -- with a good salary and everything!  But then I realized that means actually working. No more beers at 2 pm! And no more taking off to travel whenever I wanted!

That sucks.

Or when I learned that family can be a great source of support and learning.  Then I learned that you can't get rid of them. Ever.

Oh well.

This is true, unless you live in an island. Ask Yuppienomad what I mean :)
