Old and New Bands I Love
I like nerdy bands for some reason, and in the case of JLC – who doesn't love an outfit that has a cellist, a harpischordist and a mellow guitarist?
So I've been looking at jobs all day, and, after the high from the Catskills, it sucks. SUCKS. But then again, I'm excited that I know the direction I want to head in (tech) and the types of things that I can and want to do (macro-think, trends). The problem is now to find those once-in-a-million opportunities and seize them.
So I had to rock out to clear the metaphorical sense.
I currently love The Loose Salute -- they're coming out with their next album soon. I heard them through Lush and I absolutely love the simple music video.
When I was an analyst in investment banking, I used to take a break in between (or during) modeling sessions to get my Jump, Little Children fix. Katie, a girl who sat in the next cubicle, introduced them to me. She's now working for another big bank in London and me, I've taken a year off to travel and looking to reboot my career, once more.
