Orange Project

Check out Sandra Weimar's Orange Project.  Some nice B&W portraits and earthy fashion shots.  She has a penchant for muted realism – desexualizing her objects in favor of a more intimate look.

And aside, I've re-read Bertrand Russel's "Why I Am Not a Christian" and can't help but be impressed by his clarity of logic.  Why do you believe in the things you believe – what compels you? Emotions, Intellect, Fear, Love, Faith?

thanks for the link. it's pretty interesting that russell is dealing with many of the same issues that we deal with now, in regards to the retardation of progress, the problems within our political system, religious fanatics...
