While the official motto of the NYPD is to "Protect and Serve", somehow I don't get that feeling at all.  There's been no outright experience that would lead to my unease, but should citizens feel safe and secure — should we have affinity for the police force?

Ever since Nobu came back from his project overseas, we've gotten back into our college routine – working out for hours, bullshitting about the lack of available hot girls out there, and for the remaining months of spring, watching the NBA playoffs.

It's still elusive as ever.  I should have grown passed it by now.  My friends are beginning to, but I'm still hitting second gear.
