It's hard, when I look at my peers on LinkedIn, leading companies, attending Davos, making millions. Social media flattens everyone into a profile, and I can't tear my eyes away from those profiles.

Across the highway rows and rows of pumpkins sit by themselves on a pumpkin farm. A few brave parents and their happy kids walk through the fields, making a different sort of memories.

I pay the bills. I fix the broken things around the house. The portable AC unit for my daughter’s room. The screen door. The kitchen vent.
