Travels

Traveling alone means: times of frenzied activities when your orbit merges with the spins-spuns of other backpackers... and times of silent introspection (and by this I mean the increasing volume that silence brings inside your head until your brain devours itself).

Some photos from my recent trip are up. Really an amazing time. Met some great people, ate the best food I've had in Asia, and well.. the landscapes can fill up cliches and the Malays are really wonderful hosts. Can't wait for what's coming

Bump in the Road

I left Kota Bharu as soon as I got there. Well, not as soon, but like, 6 hours later when the bus for Penang/Pinang left the station. It was just too much.

The past four days were great. It's always great when you know that you're going to come back to a place. Pulau Perhentian are a couple of islands nudging the northeastern coast of Malaysia.
