Travels

Bought a tom yum soup (second of the day) and suddenly God pops into my head. He wasn't decked out in a beard today... just sort of a white blob.

Mersing has some good and bad things. Bad things? There's not much to do besides wander the two streets here.  The beach is a ways off, and the jetty has cranes and bulldozers blocking the view. Mosquitoes are rampant. As are bedbugs, I found out yesterday.

So why did I leave paradise? No accommodations. Everything booked for the weekend weeks in advance.

Crossed into Malaysia today.  I exchanged Cinderella for her ugly step-sister. But I found that the ugly step-sister has a good personality.

I felt like I've returned to civilization. Watched a movie today. In an air conditioned environment with surround sound!

Nowadays? I'll just mention yesterday.  Yesterday, my achievement was a green Thai curry.
