Travels

Ninh Binh is under-rated. Seriously. I don't get it, because the LP guide flat out says that the town is passed by travelers, although the scenery is spectacular. I'm not hyperbolizing.

When (not if) I take my road trip across America and Canada, I'm definitely going to consult this site.  Assuming that aliens (or Christian conservatives) haven't taken over the  the States. Jackalope Territory!  Mystery Hole!  It's so cool. You just click on a state

Ha Giang was going to be an extended weekend away from Hanoi for Vinny and I.  Roads that hugged the mountains. Motorbiking up above clouds.  Verdant valleys.

Imagine a behemoth, something like a hippo or a walrus, or a sea lion, in his full glory, his massive weight sagging into the ground beneath, his movements lethargic under the midday sun.

Butterflies, mountains and marshes, oh my.  After the disastrous foray to Ha Giang, Vinny and I headed down to Ninh Binh – a seriously overlooked destination on the travel circuit.

Uploaded pics from Halong Bay. Nobu, Princess and Vinny came to visit for my birthday.  I'm a little upset at how washed out the pics came out... have to find a better place to develop my film.
