Twentysomething

Uploaded pics from Halong Bay. Nobu, Princess and Vinny came to visit for my birthday.  I'm a little upset at how washed out the pics came out... have to find a better place to develop my film.

Vinny and I are heading to Ha Giang for the weekend. We're planning to graze the China border on motorbikes where limestone outcrops, mountains the the great big skies reign.

Spent my birthday having wine under the stars on the deck of a boat, wondering what kind of career I'll have, will I relate to my friends who are now VPs with salaries in the six figures, and sloshing around Captain Morgan's with Coke.

There was a weird moment yesterday when I experienced traveler's vertigo.  Friends were visiting from Indonesia and Chile.

So the National Geographic's episode on the Gospel of Judas was really interesting.  It starts out as a predictable 'whodunit' detective series on how the codex was discovered, bought, stolen, bought, and analyzed, with predictable re-enactments.

Am I part of the Ipod phenomenon? (Low supply and high demand = hipsterdom, but look around and everyone has Ipods hooked up) Am I part of the unrelenting Peter Pan syndrome?
