The Real OC

Something struck me as I watched Laguna Beach, the real OC.  Rich people are really begging for something to do.  From what I see, their lives consists of a) sunbathing b) ritzy salads and c) gossip.  They're young, they're rich and they don't have the need for jobs. 

Hey, I have two out of three. Big woop.

What do obscenely rich people do?  They don't need to work, and certainly education these days are just pit stops for middle class vocations.  Rich kids do nothing.  They are bored out of their wits. They have nothing else to do but to create drama, create personal crises and angst to fill their lives.  I realize that gossip was really a way for rich kids to pass the time.

Who's going out with who? 
He did what?
Such a skank!

Now, I detest gossip.  So what should I do with my time?

Sorry for being so negative but I think LB is pretty much everything that is wrong with the world. There should be laws prohibiting stupidity on TV.
