Under the influence

A business philosopher would say (thus transforming interesting to uninteresting)

"Why does the universe allow: improved technologies (such as the assembly line or the atom bomb) that will allow humans to age slower, extending their years so that the total mass of humanity's thoughts and intelligence can increase (because older people are wiser, due to longer experiences than younger people) which will feed newer technology.  And so on and so on and so on.  So who's the smarter one, technology or humans?"

Under the influence means you can see time in at least two dimensions: present and future.  You can see things overlay, happening together, the later and the now colliding.  Or it may be that you can also sense fast and slow all together fsalsotw... And weight will become soft and heavy or shoefatvy.
