I caught a skin infection of some sort in Asia. I think it was Asia. Definitely India and possibly Egypt (Africa, I know). It's hardly noticeable on my face but my forehead has scab-like dots all over. Kind of like scratch marks, but it's really dead skin or something that has grown over the regular skin and so it's looks bumpy close up.
I would guess that it's the pollution over there, but that's just a wild guess.
I'm bothered because I've always had the best skin in my family. Every time Mom calls she asks if my skin has gotten better. Sure, I say. I also neglect to tell her about my various scars from the trip.
I would go see a dermatologist but I don't have health insurance, yet. Which makes biking around San Francisco a lark.
Anyways, I can't help but pick at these scabs, peeling away the skin, hoping that the new skin will grow back right.
let's hope it's not some sort of bug that's laid eggs in your skin.
