Peas: the first thing my friends did when they heard i was dating was say "oh my God, he's a CHURCH BOY" and then laugh in my face and tell me that he'll never make me happy. Peas: well let me tell you.... Peas:

I've never felt as free as I did then.  Not when I moved west. Not when I traveled the world with my girlfriend.

She wanted me to stay, but I hated the sticky sweet smell of the sheets afterwards.  It repulsed me.

Traveling together on the road prevented regular showers.  At times, stumbling out of the trails with our boots wrapped in mud and skin crusted with sweat, we both stank, but that I understood.

I don't know too many people in SF with kids. I've only recently begun to hang out with other couples – and I still feel the most comfortable with my single friends.
