I cheat death everytime I get on a motorbike.  Somewhere the Good Man is letting me stay on the hook.

Today I went to pick out a river fish, with Auntie.  On the menu: fried fish, fish head & dill soup, and fresh garden salad.

Things that are hard to find in Hanoi: - Hoisin sauce & salad dressing - Wearable T-shirts - Decent wine - Homeless people - Culture (e.g. live music, art exhibits, readings) - Doritos - Cinemas Things that are easy to find in Hanoi - Fake brand names (e.g. Converses, Polos,  DKNY) - Loafers - Tailors - Coffeehouses - Construction

What do obscenely rich people do?  They don't need to work, and certainly education these days are just pit stops for middle class vocations.

I have it so easy here. It’s incredibly sinful – how easy it is – to live in  Hanoi. For a less than a dollar, I can get my shoes shined

By my count, the current US government can walk on water.  How else can you explain the lack of accountability.
