Twentysomething

Then again, I played frisbee with a Brazilian raver and basketball with an Israeli music teacher and the surrealness of it pulls me back in. Back into the circuit.

So today I'll hop on a longtail boat from Haad Yuan to Hadd Rin, then from Haad Rin on Koh Phagnan I'll catch the latest ferry to the nearest large island of Koh Samui, where they hopefully have western medical facilities.

I've recently loaded some photos from Cambodia and southern Laos up. Toodles.

Incidentally, did you know that the Thai word farang (for foreigner) came from their pronunciation of the 'French'? Fa-wrench became Fa-ren became Farang.

Bangkok is a huge city – but not very pleasant on the eyes. The SkyTrain tears an ugly gash through the city center, propped up by ungainly concrete arches.
