Travels
So today I'll hop on a longtail boat from Haad Yuan to Hadd Rin, then from Haad Rin on Koh Phagnan I'll catch the latest ferry to the nearest large island of Koh Samui, where they hopefully have western medical facilities.

Incidentally, did you know that the Thai word farang (for foreigner) came from their pronunciation of the 'French'? Fa-wrench became Fa-ren became Farang.

Bangkok is a huge city – but not very pleasant on the eyes. The SkyTrain tears an ugly gash through the city center, propped up by ungainly concrete arches.
