I'm gonna take advantage of the weather and head out of the city next week, north to Lao Cai and Sapa and the mountains, regions that other travelers have noted the most beautiful in Vietnam.

Of course, as an Asian guy, I'm tempted to say 'grow some balls' and dare to be different to all these Asian guys who complain about their station in society. But I feel a little sorry for them too, because after centuries of Western stereotypes, we are in a pretty bad position.
